Personal Training

At Theo Wood we have a select team of fitness experts, dedicated to providing you with a personal training service of the highest standard.

Our home personal training service is designed to accomplish one objective only – to ensure that you achieve your health and fitness goals safely, effectively and enjoyably.

The personal training programmes that we deliver are based on sound sports science evidence and our own extensive fitness experiences.

We have been providing bespoke personal training services since 2002 and our professional and structured approach has earned us a strong reputation that is second to none.

Theo Wood personal training programmes are based on constant progression techniques that ensure you avoid reaching a physical or mental plateau, so that your body continues to adapt and therefore continues to improve.

Personal Training

Our highly skilled personal training professionals are all qualified to a minimum Level 3 standard on the Register of Exercise Professionals, whilst possessing valid Public Liability Insurance and up to date First Aid certificates.

All our personal training services are delivered at a location of your choice; whether that’s at home, in the office or at the park. We bring the necessary equipment, plus the experience and motivational support, to make sure that each and every workout brings you one step closer to achieving your individual health and fitness targets.

We begin the personal training process with a Free Consultation, which gives us the opportunity to:-

  • Gather important personal information about you
  • Discuss your specific health and fitness objectives
  • Create a customised and periodised personal training plan that is focused on achieving your individual targets

During the consultation, you can decide how many times per week you want to train and when you want to train – our personal training service runs from 6am to 10pm Monday to Friday, and 7am to 5pm at weekends (subject to availability).

You are now ready to embark on your personal training programme, where your dedicated fitness trainer will make sure that the plan is correctly implemented whilst offering friendly motivation, support and advice.

To check that you are progressing towards your goals, we then evaluate you on a monthly basis, requesting that you repeat the same health and fitness tests you completed in the Fitness Assessment appointment. This data can then be used to determine if your personal training plan is working effectively, so that we can make any necessary amendments.

Your personal training programme is then constantly assessed and evolved to ensure that all your health and fitness ambitions are realised.
